BOUMALNE DADES – BOUMALNE DADES

Km: 104 km

Elevation Gain 2444 m

Dificult:

Description:The gradient and difficulty will increase as the stage progresses. The first kilometers pass through a wide canyon that will not cause great difficulties to the peloton.

At this point, the Titans will face a big climb that will take them to almost 2200 meters of altitude. It will be on this climb that the Škoda Challenge will be disputed, a bonus section by Škoda that will award 60 seconds in the GC to the fastest Titan to complete it.

Logistics: Škoda Titan Desert Morocco, begins, as it did in 2023, with a loop stage with start and finish at Boumalne Dades. This will make the first stages again mountainous, given its proximity to the Atlas Mountains.

Stage 2

BOUMALNE DADES – TOURZA

Km: 106 km

Elevation gain 1754 m

Dificult:

Description: The altitude of the route is maintained. The entire first section runs along a plateau with a constant climb for the first 35 kilometers, until it reaches an altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level. From here on, classic terrain of uphill and downhill for about 40 kilometers.

The last third of the stage already circulates by a descent that will take the Titans to the finish line and the first camp of the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco.

Logistic: The end of the stage will bring us to the first camp of the race. You will have to pack your bags for the next day’s transfer to the second camp.

Stage 3

Tourza – M’Ssici

elevation gain

3

TOURZA – M’SSICI

Km: 91 km

Elevation gain 590 m

Dificult:

Description:The stage will be very fast along its entire length. It does not exceed 1,000 meters of accumulated elevation gain despite the length of the route.

Tracks in good condition for the Titans to enjoy a day of pure mountain biking before a night they will never forget. A challenge of self-sufficiency unique in the world and a day of fellowship to remember.

Logistic: First sector of the marathon stage, in which the participants will not have any external mechanical or personal assistance at the end of the stage.

Stage 4

M’Ssici – Erg Chebbi

M’SSICI – ERG CHEBBI

Km: 119 km

Elevation gain 604 m

Dificult

Description: Stage of pure desert and with a variety of landscapes, terrains and challenges. The Titans will roll through dry lakes, sandy tracks and open roads by long oueds (dry riverbeds).

All of this on fast tracks and always parallel to the dune ranges that they will see up close, but which they will not cross until the following day. We will head straight towards the haimas of the Belle Etoile, leaving behind the camp of the last few days.

Logistics: Second sector of the marathon stage, which will head to the Erg Chebbi, dunes that are already synonymous with Škoda Titan Desert Morocco.

Stage 5

Erg Chebbi – Erg Chebbi

0 km

distance

+ 0 metres

elevation gain

5

Erg Chebbi – Erg Chebbi

Km: 100 km

Elevation gain 659 m

Dificult:

Description: Stage with two essential features that will make it unique and challenging. On the one hand, it will cross an unprecedented stretch of dunes in the Erg Chebbi. A test of fire for the rookie Titans and an opportunity for the veterans to demonstrate their knowledge of the terrain.

On the other hand, this is the classic navigation stage, with several kilometers in which the peloton will not have a track and will have to know how to use their GPS to find the best routes and the fastest way to overcome the desert.

Logistics: Loop stage, remember to pack your bag this day as we will be leaving the camp early in the morning after two nights in the same haima.

Stage 6

Erg Chebbi – Maadid

0 km

distance

+ 0 metres

elevation gain

6

ERG CHEBBI – MAADID

Km: 69 km

Elevation gain: 579 m

Dificult:

Description: It starts on a very fast track, from the classic dunes of Erg Chebbi, to soon enter a much more stony and rolling area, characteristic of the Moroccan desert.

From here to the finish line, some small mountain passes, but nothing particularly complicated in its more than 70 kilometers. The arrival at the finish line at the arch of the Xaluca hotel will put an end to a spectacular adventure and will crown hundreds of participants as Titans in their own right.

Logistic The last kilometres will have orientation and navigation as the main protagonists until reaching the finish line at the arch of the Xaluca hotel.
