On Sunday 9 November, around 500 people took part in the well-known race through the Litera region. The race nerve centre was set up in Alcampell and bikers rode over 60 kilometres of muddy course through exceptional scenery. The toughness of the race was evident in the 1,281 metres of height difference over the course, with a total of 30 kilometres uphill.
Races were held over two different routes, one very tough 60 km course and another more accessible 40 km course.
Information about Nissan Titan Desert MTB Marathon was handed out during the event to over 600 competitors and members of the public. After the race, the people connected with Nissan Titan Desert MTB Marathon who were present at the race, both competitors from previous editions and RPM MTB-lovers, joined the other participants for the celebration lunch that closed the 2008 edition of La Literana.
